On 6th February 2020 it’s national Time to Talk Day. A day for busting stigma around mental health and encouraging people to open up to each other, to talk and to listen.

Here at Changes we’re throwing a bit of a do from 2-5pm. Volunteers and staff are sharing some of their skills, some of the things that help them with their self-care, and you can get involved whether you’re a member of have never heard of us before.

Where: The Terrace Room at Barton Hill Settlement
When: Thursday 6th Feb 2020, 2-5pm
Why: Because it will be fun

Stress & anxiety relief through QiGong with Petra, more details here.
A gentle movement practice, simple breathing techniques for relaxation. No need for special clothes.
Please arrive by 2:40PM at the latest to take part. 

3:30PM – CRAFTERNOON

  • Creative writing with Bedminster volunteer David
    Get started with writing for wellbeing, no experience needed and no need to share what you write if you don’t want to!
  • Macrame with Service Manager Tara (the art of knotting)
    Make a plant holder and learn the meditative practice of knot-tying
  • Card-making with Easton volunteer Maddy
    Design, make and write a card to yourself for the future – we’ll post it!
