‘The most important things are the hardest to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them – words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they’re brought out. But it’s more than that isn’t it?’ – Stephen King
Mental health needs to be talked about more openly. You should not face feelings of stress, anxiety or depression or suicidal thoughts alone.
CONNECT with people when you are feeling suicidal, your friends, family or if you want to talk to someone else, there are services who will offer you support. Changes Bristol offers peer support to anyone suffering from mental distress and you are welcome to discuss any suicidal thoughts at our meetings. There are other services which are listed on our website in the Additional Support page.
