What is it?

The 2.6 Challenge is a national event thought up in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic to inspire the nation to unite together in support of charities like Changes Bristol.

Fundraising events have been cancelled and corporate supporters have had to tighten their purse strings, leaving Changes Bristol rather vulnerable. We know our mental health support services are needed more than ever, so we need your help.

The 2.6 Challenge is taking place from Sunday 26 April – when the 40th London Marathon would have taken place.

How do I take part?

All you need to do is dream up an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 that suits your skills. How about running or cycling 2.6 miles as your daily exercise, planting 26 seeds in the garden, dancing your socks off for 26 minutes, or holding the plank for 26 seconds (or 2.6 minutes!)

There are no rules – apart from the Government guidelines on how to exercise safely during this time. The main thing is to get active, have fun, pledge whatever you can to help or fundraise for Changes Bristol.

The #TwoPointSixChallenge is your chance to be a Home Hero and raise funds from your very own living room, bedroom, balcony or garden!
