Volunteer facilitator Kath C has put together some advice on using essential oils to enhance your wellbeing.

Below are some tips for using essential oils to ease different problems. They’re not meant as a substitute for prescription medications or other treatments, but as a supplement. If you can’t get essential oils at the moment (although Boots have a great selection of Bach Flower Remedies), a lavender plant for the kitchen window can do wonders – rub your hands over it and inhale. I also swear by Radox bath salts, smelly soaps and a bubble bath with lavender. Whatever works!

You’ll need a bath, a burner (ideally in water) or a ‘carrier oil’ for massaging (such as grapeseed).

****Please note, some medications may not be compatible with essential oils or oral drops. Please read the guidelines for all your medications****
