Men of Colour Group
What do I have to do? Absolutely nothing; come through, and you don’t need any referrals. We expect nothing from our members, or those who attend our groups – Come in Help yourself to a drink, have a seat, and be respectful of the space and those in it, you don’t have to share(talk) if you’re uncomfortable doing so. No pressure!
What can I talk about? We talk about everything and anything- from PTSD, loss and family to the things that aren’t that deep- sports, music, food, to the deeper stuff.
I’m worried about my confidentiality: We get it- your business is your business. As a man of colour, and a person that tries to live a private life, confidentiality is paramount to me, and to all of us here at Changes Bristol. So, best believe what’s said in the group stays in the group. The only exception would be if we were concerned about yours or another person’s safety and wellbeing.
You still aren’t certain if this group is for you? Don’t sweat it, drop me a line, email: Ishola@changesbristol.org.uk
How can I volunteer?
