Meet the Volunteers

We currently have over 40 volunteers as of June 2016.

This includes volunteer facilitators and administration volunteers. All our facilitators are volunteers and go through an induction training programme before fulfilling a part of the facilitation role.  All our volunteers either have direct or indirect experience of mental distress ensuring that our peer support model is at the forefront of our service delivery.

Our administration volunteers carry out a wealth of activities either working in the office or remotely from home, including producing the newsletter; managing the Secure Facebook Group; financial management; statistical inputting; survey analysis; leaflet design; website development; policy development; learning material development; IT development and processes; fundraising; networking and events organising.

Volunteering can range from 2 hours in any working week to 3 days, depending on the requirements of the individual volunteer and the charity.
